EFFECTIVE WAYS TO BE PRODUCTIVE EACH AND EVERY DAY

With 86,400 seconds in each and every day, there seems to be plenty of time to get everything done on our to-do list, right? Finding ways to be productive daily is something that all of us strive for and always seem to be looking for ways to make it happen. The interesting aspect of trying to be productive? What works for one doesn’t work for all.
If you are searching for effective ways to be productive each and every day, here are some suggestions to help get you started.

Remove clutter and chaos from your surroundings. If you find that you are constantly getting distracted by everything around you, it’s time to remove those items to clear your space and your mind. Don’t put extra stress on yourself just because you feel like your house or life is cluttered. Instead, increase your productivity by cleaning your house, sorting your stuff and clearing your path to productivity.

You can read more about how to declutter like a pro here!   One of the best decisions I have made is getting myself a beautiful (and smart) work tote to organize everything I need for my travels, weekly meetings, and coffee shop work sessions. My MILLENNY Brera Work Bag is not only stylish and durable but also includes a detachable laptop bag and wallet so it adapts to whatever crazy day I have ahead of me.

Do the hard jobs first. The longer that you prolong the activities that you don’t want to do, the less motivation that you’ll have as the day goes to get them done. If you start your day with the mentality that you are going to tackle the toughest task first, you’ll find that the rest of your day will be a breeze and your mentality and motivation level will be at an all-time high!
Continue to educate yourself.
You’re never too old to keep learning something new. The more that you open your mind to learning new things, the more productive that your mind will continue to be. Think about the last time that you read a book and educating yourself on a topic that you’d never studied before…it’s almost as though it gives you an adrenaline rush to learn something new and use that throughout the entirety of your day.
Put yourself first. The more that you try to keep doing things for others before taking care of yourself, the more likely you are to put you and your entire day off schedule. How can you expect to be productive and get things done when you keep saying “yes” to everyone who asks you to help them? Every once in a while is fine, but putting a stop to spreading yourself too thin is key to making certain that you are being productive with your day.

Slow down and pace yourself. Being productive doesn’t mean that you have to spend your day running in circles. Instead, take your time, plan your day, and understand what has to get done. The sooner that you can start to prioritize, the better. You’ll find that your productivity will increase as you get more confident in your abilities to manage your time better.

The moment that you wake up, set a couple of goals for the day. Make one easy and obtainable for an instant win, and have a couple more that will push you throughout your day. Don’t limit yourself and your productivity just because you feel as though you aren’t motivated enough.

There are so many ways that you can be productive easily without having to put a ton of pressure and stress on yourself. The sooner that you try a few of the suggestions above, the more productive you may start to feel! Can you imagine ending your days finishing up everything that you had planned and jazzed and ready for the next day to begin?
